Dear Friends,
I hope you are well. The 2022 legislative session ended in March, but I have been busy working on your behalf ever since. Although this session did include some positive things, it was also full of disappointments and missed opportunities. We could have done so much more if the majority party would have been more willing to work with us.
That’s why I will be busy this interim working on real solutions for the issues that matter most to you:
- Lowering taxes and making life more affordable
- Protecting our communities and families
- Holding state government and the governor accountable
- Empowering parents to help their children succeed
For an in-depth recap of the biggest stories this session, please see my previous update. You can also read my end-of-session newsletter online, by clicking here.
We need to make Washington a better place to live for everyone. As your representative in the 35th District, I am looking out for you in Olympia to make sure your voice is heard. Please continue reaching out to me. Your input is vital.

Now, as we turn our attention to the interim, I want you to know that I will continue working for you throughout the remainder of this year and into 2023. Due to election-year restrictions beginning on May 16, I will not be able to send you email updates until after the election is certified in November. However, as your representative, I will continue to be your voice in Olympia for the 35th District and you can stay in touch.
You can contact me with questions, concerns, and input, so please continue reaching out. I look forward to meeting with you throughout the interim in-person, over the phone, or virtually. The bottom line is I’m here to serve, and I want to hear from you. Thank you for trusting me.
It’s an honor to serve.
Sincerely,

Dan Griffey
