Rep. Griffey tells KVI how his retail theft bill was killed in the House Public Safety Committee

Rep. Dan Griffey, R-Allyn, shares on KVI how House Public Safety Committee Democrats were ready to pass his bill to restrict retail theft. However, when the committee chair was contacted by phone, he placed the committee in recess, only to return to lead Democrats in rejecting the bill. Griffey also reviews how far Democrats have gone in walking back sweeping police reforms passed last year after an outcry by the public and law enforcement that the changes have made communities less safe.
